March is only half over, but it has been one of our busiest months yet! It has been hard keeping up with all the excitement, which is my excuse for why our blog posts have been so sparse.
On March 7th, Milk River Elementary School celebrated World Read Aloud Day. People from all over the world come together to celebrate the importance of literacy for children. I love to read aloud to my students, and I love being read to as well. Reading aloud is a great way to build relationships and literacy at the same time.
At Milk River Elementary, our school hosted a community tea and book raffle. Here are some photos from this great event!
