Our 15th Kiva Loan!

The Grade Threes chose a new borrower from Kiva yesterday. Our account was repaid $28 this month, so we used that money to help Hussein from Iraq.
He is a youth client who is 27 years old, married and has three children. Hussein has been a tailor since 1990. He makes, repairs, or alters clothing professionally including suits, coats and trousers for men. He has sufficient experience in this field, a deep understanding of local customers, and knows about their needs. He has a good reputation and he is well known in the surrounding areas.
He decided to apply for a $3,000 youth loan in order to pay the annual rent for his workshop. He is aiming to gain more profits to improve his family’s life as a whole.
