Happy Pink Day Grade Threes!

I hope you are having a good day. Thanks for working so hard on your Social Studies test. Today, Janice will be talking about why we have Pink Day, and how we can stop bullying in our school.
Tomorrow is a very sad day for our class! Breanne will be having her last day at Milk River Elementary! We are going to miss you soooo much, Breanne. Please email us and let us know how you are doing in Saskatoon.
On a happier note, there is no school next week for students. I will be at Teacher's Convention, learning lots of new things to make our classroom even better!
If you think of any more ideas to help me out with my presentation to teachers about how we can make math more fun, please post an idea for me on my Math Wall. Just go to this website to add a sticky note:

Have a great week!

Hi there Grade Fours!
We have been learning different strategies to multiply numbers to 81 the past few weeks. I would like to hear how you are feeling about multiplication.

1. Which multiplication facts are you confident with?
2. Which multiplication facts do you think you need more practice with?
3. Choose a one digit number and multiply it by 3. How can you use the answer to multiply your number by 6? What about multiplying that same number by 7?

Thanks! I am excited to hear from you!

The Grade 3s and 4s created art projects that were modelled after Peruvian Dance Capes. These capes are worn in a dance celebration in Peru, where men dance in large groups wearing capes which tell stories from their country's history. MRES students used stories from their own past to create their capes. We hope you enjoy looking at them. For a closer look, come down to the school and check out our bulletin board!
